Instead of clicking on quick parts and going to File, just click on Document Info and select File Path from the drop-down options. This is how I have always done it. I wish there was an easier way to have it automatically update the File Path if the document moves locations!

Now if only MS would add FILEPATH without file name it would be perrrfect !

Great explanation but such a tedious, time consuming process. Do the developers at Microsoft not think that it would be helpful were there a more streamlined and quicker way of inserting a path at the bottom of a document?
